In today's episode , christine and Chantel are diving into one of our favorite topics here at Moon Rising shadow work . In the past , we've explored shadow work from a shamanic perspective , from the lens of the chakras , from a psychic protection standpoint the lens of the chakras from a psychic protection standpoint . But this episode we're diving into how working with the spiritual archetypes can transform your shadow work . Spiritual archetypes offer us a powerful lens through which we can perceive ourselves , others and the world around us , and in today's conversation , christine and Chantel are going to discuss the archetypes and how they each have a shadow side and a light side . Today's conversation is going to dive deep into how we can use these shadow selves , or these shadow archetypes , to understand ourselves better and bring a more gentle and effective view to our shadow work , so that we can alchemize our shadow and step into our light and our power . Speaker 2I think today's conversation with our shadow archetypes will be a little more tangible and people can relate to them in their day-to-day life , and so that's kind of what we're going to be focusing on is how our archetypes show up in our life . But how are they showing up on our shadow self when we are in our unhealed version of who we are right , or when we're feeling triggered or we're feeling like life isn't going our way ? Whatever it is , is that the shadow of our archetypes also play a huge role in our day-to-day life and how we see the world , how we interact with it , how we approach our relationships , things that we are doing with work and everything , and so , yeah , I'm excited to get into this conversation and actually to go over some of
Understanding Collective Archetypes
Speaker 2our own personal archetypes and how they show up in our world when we're we're not feeling in balance with ourselves .
Speaker 3Yeah , right , I think this is cool and the fact that like , yes , each archetype has a light and dark and we can experience both those extremes , like the fullness of the light or the fullness of the dark , and where are you in that spectrum ? Right , and so I'm , I'm excited for the conversation , especially now that I know , like , what exactly we're talking about , cause I'm like , okay , let me go grab my archetypal wheel the one that's on me and I'll grab my book , like I can get into things , that's fine . And um , and just recognizing that this is yet another way of self-exploration , self-awareness , understanding your own personal development and spiritual journey , like that's kind of the emphasis I feel like when we get into archetypes , like that's what really comes to . The comes forward is like who am I , who do I want to be ? How can I utilize these innate archetypes that are already within me to their fullest potential , so I can get the most out of my life and spiritual journey ? So how does that resonate ? Does that land ?
Speaker 2That's it , right there , absolutely , yeah , it really does . And just knowing that this is something . It is like you're saying , it's self exploration , when the more we know about ourselves , the better we can , you know , approach life and and do the things we want to do right , because a lot of times it is it's our shadow self that's just lurking . It's right there and at any moment we can just tip from the light to the dark . Right , we can get into those , be angry , act out , throw a fit , do the things you know , sabotage yourself . So that's all just a part of the human experience . But when we know it , that brings in the awareness that we need to say I'm kind of done with that part of life and I'm ready to be way more over here in my abundance . You know , archetype , my abundance , energy and shadow sometimes really can drain that drain . It drains our energy , it drains our life force , and so when we're leaking everything and we're not in our full potential and our full empowerment , this is a great way to look at it and see if maybe this is a possibility of why that's happening in your life .
Speaker 2So originally , archetypes were introduced by Carl Jung and his introduction of it had to do with the ego , the subconscious , and everything that's going on below , beneath us , in our not in our conscious awareness , right , right . And so then , carolyn , Miss and Dolores Cannon , they brought it into the spiritual world , so they took it more into the perspective of these are our spiritual guides , are part of our spiritual team . It is a subconscious thing , but once you know it and understand how it works in your 12 zodiac will and it's all laid out for you , it's so like , it's just so eye opening and it's definitely a tool that I know that both Christine and I use on a regular basis , since it's come into , since it's come into , like , our full awareness of like , oh shit , yeah , we could just in you can see where people are and how they're lining up in their archetypes and whether in the shadow or the light . So it really does help with your , your relationships , right .
Speaker 3I you guys can't see me when , when Chantel's talking , but I'm over here just giggling and laughing because it's so true . It's so true that , like , yes , I , I look at my archetypes , I look at my wheel and I can see how they play out in such a big way that , uh it , it's humorous to me at this point when I'm like , oh yeah , I've done that work , oh yeah , that's showing up now and to to to like feel into the archetypes themselves and really feel into does this automatically make me feel that this archetype in and of itself is a light , lighter archetype versus a shadowier archetype ? Like it's the slave versus the queen right , like they both have their light and their darks , but slave just elicits like this is a heavier archetype , right versus a queen . Most people , oh yeah , let's do that Right . Like the queen in herself and her empowerment can be really , uh , you know , full of love and light . And there's like the dark side of the queen where it's very , um , she's self-righteous and she is like really undermining people .
Speaker 3And you know , like there's different ways that you can look at every single archetype that really elicits the light and the dark Right . And when we understand this aspect of ourselves in the light and the dark and going . How can I be in my highest alignment , the greatest version of who I am ? Because when we we work towards that , what happens in our energy field is that it expands . So even the light and the dark of each of these archetypes you can think about , about it in a form of this is my fullest expansion , my fullest love expression , or is it my , my fear ?
Speaker 3Is it the contraction that going inward and not being the fullness of who you are , the fullness of the grandest version of who you are , your highest self , right ? And so it's really interesting to watch them play out in your real life and going . Okay , if this is in my , which wheel of my archetype , and how does it play out ? To undermine me or to enhance me , Right ? And so I think there's a lot of like one . Yes , we have free will , choice and we , but it's so much easier when we can make conscious , awareness choices of going . Oh , I can see how this is so easy for me to slip into because it's part of my archetypes that are so innate within me .
Speaker 2Yeah , yeah for sure . So then it's like the shadow self is the wounded version of ours , of us , right ? So , for example , like , well , first I want to say that in a previous conversation about the archetypes , we already went over the four collective archetypes , so we're going to be focusing on different ones , but the four collective that we all come in with is the um , the victim , the prostitute , the saboteur , and then there are six child archetypes , and so we connect to one of them . So that is the collective , and then we have a total of 12 . So , individually , we also have eight .
Speaker 2Okay , and so one of mine and I put it down as one to talk about is the rebel , right ? So we have , well , I have the warrior . So the warrior for me comes in in my 12th house , which is in Pisces , which is all about energy , like it's the flow of water , it's being in balance . It's the yin and the yang , right , it's all of that , but it's in in balance . It's the yin and the yang , right , it's all of that . But it's in my unconsciousness , in my unconscious self .
Speaker 2So when the warrior shows up , it's because there's something underneath that is brewing in me that is not of the light yet . So when the warrior shows up , it's really to come in and to take a stance and say this is not working for . So the warrior can come in and either destroy , disrupt my world , or can come in and create balance for me
How Archetypes Affect Daily Life
Speaker 2by standing my ground , by me voicing , by me being authentic , by me saying and speaking my truth of what I need or , like I said , it can come in and be the shadow part of me and then just absolutely come in and destroy everything that's going on . Yeah , does that make sense ? And then going across is my wounded child , which makes absolute sense , which ? So if my wounded child is being triggered , yeah , the warrior is going to come in to protect . The warrior is going to come in and just destroy the things that aren't working for me so that my wounded child can feel safe .
Speaker 3Okay , so let me , let me make sure I understood this Right and so our listeners can too . Yeah , am I hearing that right ? You looked at your . You were looking at your 12th house and Pisces , where your warrior is , and then you can look across your chart , so looking completely over to your sixth house , and that that is your , your child child , my wounded child . Yeah , okay , I just wanted to make sure .
Speaker 3Like so , if you don't know , um , from carolyn miss , she has kind of crafted a way to look at the archetypes using the 12th houses , and each house in our astrology charts represent something . So that is really what Chantel is speaking to . Is like , okay , if you're in the , if you're in her 12th house of Pisces , it's like the unconscious space , this is where her warrior resides . And if she looks across the chart to her , to her sixth house , that's where Virgo is and it's more on like occupation , on health and wellness , those types of things , and that's where her wounded child is residing . And , understanding this connection of the two , the warrior wants to step up to support the wounded child , absolutely , yeah , I just want to make sure I got that right , yes , Very good .
Speaker 2And then when you look at so , when you brought up occupation and health , right , and my wounded child is in my health aspect , so also connecting how my wounded child can also manifest health issues right . So , and not that I have a lot , but the things that I have endured in life , it's because that wounded child has been pained and somewhere that energy has been trapped in me and I had to heal it in order for me to be physically healthy now . So you take it all , it's not like and this is what I like about it there's so many layers to it . But when you can connect all the different elements of what's going on with the archetypes and soul contracts and your health and your chakras , your energy , all of it , it really puts . It's like gathering all the puzzle pieces and putting it into that big picture . And so this is just one part of the tool that can really like . It just brings the full picture forward so that we can really connect with who we are .
Speaker 2And so another one is teacher . So I have teacher in my self-expression and that's in Gemini , so that's my lifetime , but also in the things that are in spirit , in our spiritual realm of hey , did you know this and let's teach on that . Let's get the you know the slideshow going , let's gather the people , the class and all that . So my teacher , in my self expression , is very , it's just always there . I'm always ready to teach something , right ? Because ? So what do you have your teacher in ?
Speaker 3Cause I know you have teacher too right , I don't actually have guide , guide , guide , and I have exorcist , I have liberator , um , I have queen . You know , those are like a visionary , obviously , yeah Right , like . So I definitely have some that are more on that side , teacher , like side . You know , when I was just looking at my , my chart here and the one that is popping up to me , that one that's most , um , I'm in awareness of in this moment , is actually exorcist , which is in my 10th house of Capricorn and that kind of resonates with your highest potential . The exorcist is also known as the shaman and I , since I was teaching this class last night on basically how to do exorcisms and demonic depossessions and how to deal with possessions and intrusive entities and like this really heavy topic it was it's really interesting to me to , to to like I left class feeling so high like none of it . There's , no , there was no fear factor in it for me , because this is part of who I am right , like , I don't fear the power of it or fear the darkness , because it's like I know I'm just , I'm just as or more powerful than more powerful than anything that resides in those realms , and it was really interesting . So I pulled up the book just now from Carolyn misses sacred contracts , and I pulled up the exorcist just to see what their her shadow version definition of the exorcist is the shadow exorcist just to see what their her shadow version definition of the exorcist is . The shadow exorcist attacks the evil and others without having the courage to face his own demons . That's awesome , I just feel like and this is this is what we're talking about . Like , even though it might be a more of a shadowy archetype , there's still a shadow aspect of it . And how does it impact you ? So this is really interesting . Like , okay , how in my life over the years so maybe not in recent years , but how have I denied working on my own internal demons ? And you know it was .
Speaker 3It was interesting because I went to like immediately after class . I went to a cacao ceremony and a static dance last night and when I entered the room , like I was late because I had to teach class . And so there's probably 30 people and they got a talking stick and they're going around the room as part of the cacao ceremony and they're speaking to what freedom means to them as part of the cacao ceremony , and they're speaking to what freedom means to them . And so here I am after talking about intrusive entities for the last two hours and we're they're having this conversation about freedom and like listening to everyone's definitions and I'm only getting a few because I came in late . And so here's the talking to them Like and this is who I am .
Speaker 3I was just teaching this class on on intrusive entities and you can just see like everyone's having this really light , lighter conversation . I'm bringing in this heavy topic and just going like and I feel amazing about it , like I had to like express also like how full I feel and when I'm in alignment with my archetype of it's fullest expression , like I feel good , I feel expansive , I feel in the love and light energy when I'm like speaking to the highest role of my archetype . And I thought about I was sitting there going like I'm not super used to kind of the the cow ceremonies at least where we are , it's kind of a free for all conversation about like whatever is bubbling up . And I had thought about , no , should I tell them like I've been possessed before , I've I've had to fight my own demons , like I like those things . But it just felt too heavy for for that audience last night and to really recognize like , yeah , when I'm looking at here's the shadow aspects of not face , not having the courage to face your own demons , and how long I had spent in my life of like not willing to look at those dark , shadowy spaces and not willing to face and fight my own demons , and what did those look like , right .
Speaker 3And so I remember there was this pivotal point , point in my education and my spiritual journey where it was like I'm just done , I'm just done with the bullshit and I'm ready for healing . And that is what every person needs when they are really ready to fight their own demons . Is they have to get to that point of are really ready to fight their own demons ? Is they have to get to that point of I'm not willing and available to deal with this shit anymore ? And I remember that point in my life when it came to my spirituality and it feels kind of over and over again , partly because my saboteur is in my ninth house of spirituality , Right .
Speaker 3So you know , I've got some like interesting connections there where here's my saboteur messing with my spiritual side and my guides and like that . Like that's a whole other story , but like you can see how these two houses , the ninth and 10th house are right next to each other , and Sagittarius and Capricorn , which are both my rising and moon signs , right , it makes it even more potent that I'm dealing with the exorcist and the saboteur and how the exorcist needs to really show up to combat that saboteur and its highest and fullest potential , which is dealing with your own personal demons . Yes ,
Shadow Self vs. Light Expression
Speaker 3right . So I find it all , um , I wouldn't say humorous , but I find it highly , I don't like I almost entertaining to look at ourselves from this level of awareness .
Speaker 3This , like bringing it into consciousness , makes it go . Oh , I get it and I can see when I dealt with my demons and how things change and how I really got rid of the demons in my life , both physically , spiritually , mentally , emotionally , like on all of the different levels , because that was happening in my world , like on all of the different levels , because that was happening in my world , and to be able to , to step into the highest potential of that , the love side of this the exorcist is really to be the shamanic practitioner of really available to help and support other people with their , their stuff , their heaviness , right . So I just find it all very interesting .
Speaker 2It really is . And I think , as people , if you , if you are interested in this and you you dive into this and you want to learn about the wheel and everything , you will find that , yes , this is . This can be to some , a little triggering because it is working with your shadow self and we have to be truthful of , yes , is the exorcist going to show up ? How is the saboteur going to show up ? You know , for me I have a bully archetype .
Speaker 2That wasn't an easy one to take in , but I knew it was a part of it . You know , because as the warrior , the bully , shows up , it's like I could really stand really strong in my life in certain seasons of my life where I'm not going to get pushed around . So I will push back , you know . And so when I had to sit with that and then alchemize that in more into the lover and having compassion and being able to connect with people on a deeper level , it really changed my whole world , my whole world , because I was like , yeah , I'm going to , I'm going to show up as that warrior part of myself to make sure that I feel safe and secure in where I'm at , because I was dealing with so much stuff in life that was not safe and was not secure . So then my archetypes are showing up to say , okay , you have the strength to get through this , let's do it Right .
Speaker 2But it doesn't always feel good when you're pushing back with people that you love or you're pushing back on things that you want to to create and manifest and you're watching things fall apart . So this is really a big eye-opener for us . But when we can see it , it's like , okay , I recognize that , like what you're saying , christine , you're like I see it , I need to alchemize this , I need to bring it forward , the light version of this archetype , and through that is the healing process . And so it's like sometimes this is a straight in your face kind of chart , but when you understand it and you work with it , it shifts everything around .
Speaker 3Well , and I think this comes to that point of like you have to be ready to deal with your shadows . Exactly , yeah , you cannot approach archetypes if you're not ready for healing and not willing to look at the stuff in your life . It very clearly organizes things of what is in your subconscious and we're going to bring it into your conscious awareness .
Speaker 2Yeah , this is like radical accountability . Yes , yes .
Speaker 3That is it . So you're taking radical responsibility for your life by going wow , I do have an archetype that's a bully . Wow , I do have an archetype that's the miser . Wow , I do have an archetype that's the slave . What does that mean for me ? Right , like , how can I bear witness to this aspect of who I am and say what am I contributing to the shadow portion of this ? Right , because this is when we really recognize the shadow aspect and recognizing how does this play into our sabotaging , self-sabotaging behaviors ? How are we mitigating relationships ? How are we mitigating relationships ? How are we interacting with others ? Which archetype is being embodied when I interact with this person that can tell us so much information ?
Speaker 3Right , and I feel like , when we are being really brutally honest with ourselves , you can't approach this , the , the , the deck of archetypes , or even the book of archetypes , and say , it's , I'm just going to pick all of the good ones , all of like , the quote unquote good ones , all of the love and light ones . It doesn't work that way . So you have to like , even when you're starting to come to like , what are my archetypes ? How am I picking out my 12 ? Like , you have four . That's already pretty predetermined . You know the , the the saboteur , the um the victim , the uh , the , the the child . And what's the fourth one ? I'm going to my forgetting ? Uh , victim , prostitute , prostitute , right . So like you have those four . So then you're really looking at like , okay , here's the eight . You need to go through all of the archetypes and Carol Mice put out here 72 of them , right . So you need to go through and really tune into what are the eight that resonate with me , right ? And so as you go through the deck , you need to be really honest with yourself or your chart isn't going to come out , right . So , yeah , you've got to tune into your own energy . You've got to like kind of tune into your own alignment and being like I'm bringing in my highest version , I'm willing to do the shadow work , I'm willing to look at those dark spaces within myself , to self-accept that I'm not perfect , I'm not perfectly of the love and light there's , because that doesn't exist . We all have wounds , we all have shadows , right . So when we could go through all 72 of those potential archetypes and going that doesn't resonate , that doesn't resonate , oh , that might be a maybe , right , we're going to put that in the maybe pile .
Speaker 3And then you're like you go through and you're like I was really resistant to having queen , I really didn't want queen , right ? I remember , yeah , chantel was with me and I was like I don't want this card , like can't I have something else ? Can I have a similar one , but not this one ? And the more I sat with it I'm like , but that is who she is . And you know it's funny because when I was in my early twenties , at midwifery school , they nicknamed me , nicknamed me queen Christine . You know , like there was some truth to that .
Speaker 3I like that , um , I I don't have a problem sitting in my power and delegating , like that is really easy for me to do , and that , how does that come off to others ? I don't like that perception that I'm better than other people . I don't like the perception that I'm full of myself , like and like that is my archetype and you know what it's in my , it's in my first house , which is ego and personality . And I'm like , like that is how people perceive me . Is that I'm just self-righteous and like dictating how things need to go ? Like I don't want to be viewed that way . Of course I don't . Of course I don't . And what's the light side of it ? And how can I alchemize those shadowy aspects of it ?
Speaker 2right . But then you can see what the role is yeah , for what queen , and how queen shows
Personal Archetype Examples
Speaker 2up in your life and how queen is helping you to live the path that you're here to do . Your soul contracts right , like , in order to be able to run a business like we're running and doing what you're doing , you have to have an archetype that's going to stand in her truth and her power and be able to guide and lead and be like visionary as that's coming in . So when you see it and I love that even before you knew of the archetypes or that it was coming in , that they were already telling you that , yes , she was already showing up . She's like I'm here , I'm like up front and center , do you see me ? And you were like no , no .
Speaker 3Can I be the goddess Like wouldn't that be so much better . Like I remember really trying to hone in on something else that was similar but not quite is . You will have this inner knowing .
Speaker 2You know what it is , even if you don't want it . There's going to be your intuition that's going to step forward and say yeah , that's it , that's it . And it's through the charting , it's through the meditation . It's going to the upper world , it's meeting your archetypes . There's a whole process to it , but once you have it done , it's like there it is . It's one of the biggest tools to use , because then you absolutely know why you're showing up the way you're showing up and how to change that , those aspects of yourself , how to go from the shadow to the light , how to bring in that balance , how to do . You know , do it all and it's just like there . It is all written down on a piece of paper and it's like well , shit , exactly .
Speaker 3Exactly shit , exactly Exactly .
Speaker 2It's like oh and it's so crowned , it's so so perspective that you know when we're in our our lower , like you know aspects of ourself .
Speaker 2Yeah , this might be something that's like no , I don't want to do that , but when you raise yourself up to that higher awareness and consciousness of it , this is such an amazing way to get through life and to do life and to embrace it and embody it in a very empowered way . Because I'm telling you , if the victim shows up and she's tapping at your door and everything in you just is victimized by life and everything's happening against me and why , and this and that and all of it , and then you go , you know what ? I'm no longer going to be the victim of the situation . I am now going to shift that and she becomes the warrior of your highest self . So she's going to come in and be like no more , I have my boundaries , you set it for yourself , You're strong , You're in your power and suddenly you don't feel that victim anymore . You see things for how they are and you don't let people push you around anymore or situations any of it Right .
Speaker 3I just I can see that Like I don't let people push me around anymore , like that phrase really stood out because I I can sit on the throne of the queen and be like I'm really comfortable , like allowing people to do things for me . Like I hate to even say it right , but it's true . Like I remember when I was super broke , super like we were straight up poor , and I had my , my baby , when my my last child , who's now 12 , when she was born , like we had nothing and I was like can I teach someone Reiki so I can barter with them , so they can clean my house ? Like I was like how can someone take care , take care of all of the things ? Um , and I don't actually have to do it . Like , and I'm still , and I still have that , like those little flavors , and like it's the self acceptance of like yeah , this is , this is who I am , and I can strive to be the best version of all of these aspects , but this is actually who I am .
Speaker 2Yeah , right , because there are . We need those shadow versions of ourself to help us get through the darker parts of life . Right , because they do . That is the warrior in us and that's the one that's going to give us the strength and power to push ahead .
Speaker 2So , when we are struggling financially , when we are feeling like nothing is working out , when we are the single mom , the single parent right , or whatever it is you're struggling with your child , whatever circumstance you're dealing with , there is that side of us that we so strongly need that's going to step forward and say I got this and I'm going to do it . And then you pull up your boots and you strap them on and you go and you do it and you be that intense warrior , that intense one that's going to just the one that's going to go and just destroy to bring back the strength and love and everything that we need . So we got to go out there and do it . But if we're always like we're just in love and light , we're really not and then we're also wearing masks to say like , oh , I don't have anything , because there are people that try to be like I don't have anything negative , I'm like you don't know yourself then you know cause . If you can't see your own shadows , you don't know yourself .
Speaker 3Well , you're probably spiritually bypassing , so that you yeah you're bypassing your own life , your own self .
Speaker 3Well , and I think , like , what's the point of all of this , like from a very crown chakra point of view , if this is preordained in some way ? We have come in with free will choice to say , yes , these are the archetypes , these are the soul agreements , these are the soul families I'm coming in with with this personality , like these subset of archetypes to support me in those life lessons . Mm-hmm , why fight it ? Why fight it ? We can alchemize it , we can work with it , we can work within it . But there is no point of denying that we have a prostitute . We all have a prostitute .
Speaker 3There's always some aspect of ourselves that wants to have this exchange of energy , of some capacity , somewhere in some part of our life . Right , do you work for the man and exchange for a paycheck , like whatever that is for you and going , bringing it into your conscious awareness , lets you have that . It's just , it is . It becomes self-awareness , it becomes like you have better opportunities to make free will choices . Right , when can act this way ? Or which is like common and familiar and on my patterns and routines ? Or I can say I'm going to choose the highest version of expression of myself in this situation and what does that look like . And so when we can slow down , recognize our shadows , recognize our saboteur , recognize that undermining nature within us that is there for everyone , and go . I , because of my awareness , I now have awareness of choice . I can keep doing what I'm doing or I can make a new choice and I can strive for the best life possible for me .
Speaker 2And I love , like , what you said about why deny it ? Because there is no . I mean , we can't live in the realm of denial all day long , right , but there's not going to be any growth , there's no change there , there's none of that . So it's like no denying it , it's we just need to . Or I feel for myself anyway , I just came to a point where I needed to accept it . You know it was like no , okay , here it is .
Speaker 2Here's , here are some answers that just resonated so strongly and it's like now go live the life with that , so you can be the highest version of yourself . And so , like what you're talking about with your class last night , what happens if we're always in our shadow and we're not alchemizing it , we're not healing them ? Then you start having those really dark shadow archetypes and entities and attachments and all of those things that start coming forward because you're in the shadow . So much right , and we just label it like oh , I'm depressed or I'm in grief , I'm sad , I'm angry , but what is that ? That's
Radical Accountability and Self-Healing
Speaker 2us sitting in our shadow self and not trying to change it , shift it , grow , evolve , any of it , and then that just welcomes in all the darker energies of our world . Yeah , Right .
Speaker 3So it's like how can we come to a space of , of , of expansion , right ?
Speaker 3And I think this is why , gosh , I feel like every single podcast you all , all of our listeners , are probably annoyed by my repetition here , but like you got to work on yourself , people Like it all comes down to your availability to support yourself and healing and be in that expansive state of energy Like um , uh , and that's why we do so many like our last podcast that came , came out on the tips for chakra healing Like this is what we're talking about .
Speaker 3It's like how can we really understand where our energy is stuck and where is it flowing ? Right ? Like all of these , all of these different concepts lead you to the same place of spiritual growth , spiritual expansion , of being your highest version of who you are , and when you are in that expression , your highest version of who you are , and when you are in that expression , your energy abounds . Your energy is an abundance , it's in prosperity , it's in flow , it's in quote , unquote the vortex , it's in this state , where , then , the synchronicities can show up , the blessings can show up , the resources can show up , you can hold that desired reality of what you want to create for your life and make manifest it Right . But if you have an underlying shadow that you refuse to look at , they're going to come sneakily around to like foul it up .
Speaker 2Yeah , they're , and they're really really good at it .
Speaker 3Right , and the reason being is because when we ignore it , when you resist , it persists , right . So when you don't look at it , it's going to show up until you pay attention . Whether this is coming through health issues , whether this is coming through emotional problems , whether this is like in my case , oftentimes my saboteur is in my house of spirituality and , like my guides , are doing all kinds of stuff like whatever it is for you . When we can go , what's going on here ? Like when I finally saw the saboteur and my house of spirituality , I'm like , oh well , that makes sense , I get that . I can totally see that .
Speaker 2Right , yeah , see , my saboteur is in my home and yeah , I see that I can absolutely destroy my inner , like my sanctuary , if I am not in my love and light , if I'm not , if I'm upset , if I'm angry . And I've learned how to really heal that and control that , like I know when to walk away . Now I know how to walk away now . That's what's so important . It's not even that you can't say what you need to say , but you've learned through this process how to say what you need to say , how to express yourself , because you have the awareness . Now it's like I'm not going to sabotage my home . You know I'm not going to go destroy everything I got going on because I'm mad . You know , because if I'm angry , because I do have the warrior and I do have the saboteur and I have all these things , these archetypes in my will , that can be really hot headed . I can then go to the healer in my Sagittarius and my spirituality , which I am Sagittarius and a fire sign to the core of who I am . So I can go to the healer of who I am now and say I need your help because our archetypes are our allies when we work with them . Right , then their whole purpose here is to keep us on our soul's journey and path , to keep us where we need to be , and they will redirect us all the time through the shadow , through our own destruction of self . So it's like they're going to keep pushing us forward until we get to that place of in any level of enlightenment of ourself and say I can walk away from that conversation and not destroy you , because I know I can with words . You know , and then go . I'm going to now I'm going to go and self punish and I'm going to go be the victim because I said all the things I didn't want to say and now I got to go be the prostitute because I got to go renegotiate the love and somebody . You know what I mean .
Speaker 2So when you see the patterns and how they all work together , you're just like , well , shit , or I can just stop it right here and now and say I just need a minute , give me some time to go process and then I'll come back and we'll be all right . You know , and I'm not , I know I'm not the only one out there that has had to deal with anger or disappointment of people Right or relationships we all have , but we can all also be in this space , like Christine and I are talking about , where you do that radical healing and awareness and you take the responsibility of self and you can shift it all and so , yeah , it's just so powerful and I love that . That's why we put on the classes we do here , because it is all about self-radical healing and awareness and standing in your true self and raising up to whatever version that is for you , absolutely Amazing .
Speaker 3I love it .
Speaker 3I love the piece when I learned that the saboteur can become the magician .
Speaker 3Yes , right , like .
Speaker 3So when you completely alchemize your saboteur wherever you're self-sabotaging in your life , the highest version of that is to be the magician of that realm in your life , right , and so for mine , being in the realm of spirituality at my highest potential , that is the magician and spirituality Wow , the manifestations that I've created in my life when I'm in that fullest expression , is amazing , right , and so I think the the , the hope is that you recognize that when we do the shadow work , it's worth it , right , it's worth it , like , let our lives be that example , your , your hope , your inspiration .
Speaker 3Because it's like , yeah , we've been through some shit and we were willing to go into the dark , to look at all those places and spaces within us and say I'm willing to heal , I'm willing to change , I'm willing to alchemize , I'm willing to do the work so that when these activations , triggers whatever you want to call them show up , you can take a moment before you respond , instead of having a knee jerk reaction . You go oh , there's that saboteur again , or whatever it may be for you to go , I now have a choice . I can have this automatic response , and that's a choice , or I can make a new choice and do something different .
Speaker 2Yeah yeah .
Speaker 2And it does it that change . You know , there there was a period of time where I could not sit in my own space because my mind would take me to all the places I didn't want to go and think , and you know the memories and everything . And there was a period when my husband was working away from home and I literally took like what , seven , eight months of where I was in silence in my own house and that I mean , and that was radical for me because to have no background noise , I was just in my thoughts . Whatever I was doing , I just stayed in my thoughts . That literally shifted so much in my life because I was able to get out of the memories I didn't want to have . I was able to be more in a mindful
Alchemizing Shadow Into Power
Speaker 2state of thought and emotion that it was really powerful . And I don't go like you know , that was just my radical way of healing the things that I needed to heal and that's not going to work for everyone , but when you're ready to do it , the tools are going to show up , the ability to do it is going to show up . The time , the space , whatever it is . It's like when the student is ready , the teacher will show up . However , that teacher is whoever and whatever element it is . So just embracing that and you know , I do want to say , if you are , if this is something that strikes you and you're interested and you do want to dive deeper , I am going to be .
