SPEAKER_02:

Welcome to Wisdom Rising, the podcast of Moon Rising Shamanic Institute. Join shamanic Reiki practitioners Christine Rene and Chantel Ochoa as we dance between worlds of shamanism, mysticism, and energy healing. Each week we illuminate your path to self-sourced wisdom and attune you to the whispers of wisdom rising from within. Welcome, welcome to our Whispers of Wisdom on this Monday morning. Um, today Chantel and I are going to be discussing fire and water, everything from tarot to Reiki shares, and how these elements really support us in our work and how we can use these elements to really assist us in going deeper. And so I would love to have Chantelle kick us off on how we really are alive for you and your work because I know that you are very much in that fire energy. You know what's interesting? I'm recognizing that aren't you a your fire sign and I'm a water sign? Here we are.

SPEAKER_00:

Ah, yeah, here it this is what we look like. It's like uh that movie Elemental. Have you seen that? And fire and water fall in love. Yes, totally. Yeah, and they're trying to like figure out how that works without uh boiling one or putting out the other. It's a cute movie. Anytime we're working with the elements is one recognizing we are the four elements, you know, that is part of our makeup. And so when we work with it, we are working with that part of ourself that the fire, the water, the air, the earth. Like, how can we ground? How can we ignite ourselves, you know, all the things. And so I love anytime there's an opportunity to bring the elements into any of the work that we do because it is so powerful. What do you need to burn away? What do you need to cleanse, right? Taking our showers, earthing ourselves in the yard, and then um breathing, you know, air, letting the air blow and release what needs to be released. And so it's it's important and also to understand the personalities around us, which I think is so fun. Because, yes, if you are in couples, you're in a relationship and recognizing what your partner's element is because I got air over here and I am fire, and he can blow me and I can burn, you know. So it's noticing the different um techniques and the and the tools that are available to us. But yeah, elements are really important to understand. Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_02:

I actually got uh my spiritual coaching certification in recognizing the elements. Like that was what the the basis of the program was the four elements and really understanding how does air move? Can you recognize when someone walks in the room what element they're coming in with? Like the this the really grounded stomping of the earth energy, the blowing in of the wind, the like flowing of the water, the the the big personality of the the fire signs, right? Like, and it wasn't about astrology, it was about recognizing that we each have these four elements within us. And how do we what is our most dominant? What's our what's our presenting element? And as you can recognize this, how do you talk to them? How do you help support them in their balance and their growth, understanding and honoring who they are and how they show up in the world?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, and and it's true, like it's very much the zodiacs, but this is very shamanic of understanding what are our four directions, what's the medicine will, the elements in which we work with, how do we call them in, how do we work with them in ritual in on our altars, all of that. So it's it's you know, as above, so below, it very much is that. And I think that it does shape our personality, you know, but at the same time, it's if we're not working with the earth with her elements, we're missing out on a big part of what life is all about. So, and I love that being able to recognize somebody else's their air sign, their water, their, you know, just by them coming in or their personality, because when you recognize that part, like water signs, water signs are very emotional, right? Air signs are are up in the crown and very, you know, and then yes, fire signs come in and they're like bold, and earth is very grounded and like stompy and stuff. And and when you recognize it, you know how to work with that personality trait. It's so people don't have to get offended when they know, oh, that's because you're this sign or you're this element, and then it's like that's what that's all about, it's all good.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, and I and I feel like when we can take a step back from the astrology of it and and recognize that we have all of the elements within us, it's just what's presenting, what's what needs support and becoming stronger, and what needs to take a back seat sometimes. So if you're that really grounded earth, how can we invite in the air? You know, those polarizing elements within ourselves, just like fire and water. Like sometimes I can be, I'm so I'm a Pisces, and maybe my natural attitude is very watery, very emotional. I tell people on the podcast all the time, I think I cry every day. And I'm totally fine with that. I am I am very emotional, I'm very in tune with my emotions, and I'm very loving and accepting of myself for that quality and recognizing too, when do I need the fire? When do I need to show up in my fire of setting my boundaries, of going live, like doing a podcast and like this is who I am, and being really almost flamboyant about it. Like that's fiery energy right there. And so it's like when we can recognize how do we have all of these elements within ourselves and how can we balance them out and recognize that each have strengths and weaknesses, and they're not one is not better than the other. They all can provide so much wisdom and divine intelligence that we can activate to really show up in our highest caliber of who we are.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, activate being a great like word for that, because I think when people don't know that they are elements or the elements are there available to work with, um, when they recognize that it's a big aha, it's like, oh my gosh, you can activate yourself. You can activate yourself through the fire, through the elements of all four of them. Like I said, bringing them to ritual, right? Like every, you know, when you have moon cycles, we go into ceremony and stuff like that. What are you working with? What elements are coming forward to really help you to rise up, to let go, to embrace, to encounter, right? Like we're talking about just with water. Every day when we take a shower, we can Reiki share, we, you know, we can share that. We are cleansing ourselves and asking the water to wash away what needs to be washed away. It's not just the physical, it's the energetic, it's the emotional, it's the mental. And that's why taking a shower is so important, you know, bathing and everything, because that water is going to come in and do exactly what we need it to do. It's not just clean cleansing us. Right. And so more layers in one, I guess.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, so it's kind of like the elements can be this external experience and it can also be that internal understanding of okay, if the water is receptive, if it's taking on energy from others, like it feels very like water has memory. It's a conduit, it's a conduit, right? And so if water is this receptivity and it is the flow, how are we activating that in our life? How are we finding our flow? How are we finding our under our empathy as we move through life? Right. So it's like it can be very much. I love that like this external, like I can take the shower and I'm actively saying I'm welcoming the water element in my life. And then having that self-reflection of going, where is water showing up for me in my personality and my direction of the day? And what am I activating to say yes to?

SPEAKER_00:

Well, like when you put water, just a glass of water in your room, that as a conduit, it absorbs the energy. So I don't know if people are if you know that, but you put out in any room, all rooms, you can put a cup of water, even under your bed, it's going to absorb that energy. You will see an actual change, a chemical change in the water, which is really interesting. And so I work with water in my home like that, like as a cleanser and absorber, and what it does. When we have people here that are, you know, carrying a lot of emotions, that water will shift. I've seen it go grow mold. It will get some kind of gross, like fungus kind of thing in there and some floaties, and it's very interesting. But then you know that energy is not floating around in my house anymore because the water already absorbed it. It did its work. And it's all intention, right? Like you're setting it up with the intention that it's going to absorb it. Oh, I love that.

SPEAKER_02:

I love your little your little tips that you have. Like, I'm like, I have not thought of that one, but I want to do it because part of it is like if you I think it all comes back to your intention. Like, if you have the intention of, okay, I'm gonna set out this bowl of water so that it can absorb energy and reveal what energies are being present and transmuting it, the water is now working for you.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. And then, like, if you have a cup, a glass of water that you put next to your bed, and this is a great way of setting your manifestations and your intentions with that, but you want to cover it because they say, like, even at night, you know, there's there's beings, there's energy that's floating around at night and it's attracted to your water. So don't drink it in the morning. So people will have their water next to their and I did this the other night. I had water next to it, and then in the middle of the night, I drink it, and no, he's like, he's like, Don't drink that water, remember in his sleep. He's already telling he like wakes up, don't drink the water. And I was like, Oh my gosh. And because it wasn't covered, but um, yes, so if you want to manifest with water next to your bed, you put it, you cover it, right? So you can speak your intentions of what you're manifesting. And as you sleep and everything, it's growing that, and then you drink it in the morning, but you want to cover it because all those energies are being absorbed in your water at night.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, I I've got to say, after hearing that, I'm really glad I sleep. I drink I have a water bottle that is a bottle with a top on it, it's metal, nothing's coming in, nothing's going on.

SPEAKER_00:

Nothing's coming in.

SPEAKER_02:

Nope. There it's not a two-way flow at all. It is just solid, my my hot water bottle. And I'm very grateful for that now that I'm hearing all this, because I can see how that would work, especially if you live in an energetically alive space. You know what I mean? Like you are aware of these things, they're gonna be more ever present for you, and how we can it's kind of like living as the animist. Like, I believe everything is energy around me. This desk has energy, these walls have energy, my water has energy, and I am going to have an energetic imprint on all of it as it will have an energetic imprint on me. It's a two-way flow, right? And so it's like this is very interesting when we come into what water is around you and how are you energetically communicating with it?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, speak to it, yeah. Because when we're sleeping, think about we're traveling, right? We're traveling out, we're dreaming, we're we're having certain energies that are coming from us, through us, of us, around us. And yes, that water is just observing or absorbing it. So yeah, very interesting. But so there's yeah, there's some tidbits right there. Now people are gonna be looking at their water on their nightstand just a little bit differently.

SPEAKER_02:

Yes, right. And if you're if you're not cognizant of it and you have your water glass and it's doesn't have its lid on and it's picking up things and you're drinking it, you're just then vibrating at the level of the things, right? Like it's not, it's not being, it's not doing anything necessarily. It's just that you're you're in the same energy, like there's just not an intention. Like you're now like, let's say there is drama in your house and you're drinking that drama, you're still in the drama. It's not necessarily uplifting you or dragging you down, it just is what it is. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_00:

And that we have that's a great example of if you're drinking the drama and you're trying to clear the drama, it's difficult when you're consuming it.

SPEAKER_02:

Exactly. So it's like this bringing in this awareness of I can be collaborative in the energy and setting the intention and knowing that that it can work on my behalf, or I can just be here, you know. I can I can let it go and know that it's not gonna lift me up or pull me down, it just is right. And noticing, like if you do have a lot of people or a lot of spiritual visitors in your house, is it affecting you?

SPEAKER_00:

I do have a question real quick because um Emily was asking about the water, real quick. You dump it either, you can give it back to the earth or pour it in the um the toilet. So anytime you're doing any kind of work like that, you want to give it back, like the toilet is good, flush it down versus your sink in your kitchen, because your kitchen is your abundance area. So you don't want to give any kind of um like contaminated water or anything like that. If you do egg cleanses or anything, it all goes down the toilet. Okay, so we work with well, now fire, because we're talking water and fire today, but with fire, it's one, it's light, it's warmth, it's bring, it brings in all these different elements for you, but it's the burner, it's the igniter, it's the one that's going to um burn away what no longer serves you, right? But you can use it also to bring in your intentions. So if you're like either you're writing things you want to release or you're lighting it to bring in the flame to ignite and tell the universe, I am here. So last night I had new moon, and I always give a tea light, and we do this intention on it. We ask for one word for the month of, and then that's our intentional word for it, and then they write it in the top of their candle. So when they burn it, they're telling the universe, this is my light, and this is what I'm ready to claim, right? Whatever that is abundance, love, forgiveness, you know, whatever your word is, but then you light that and ignite it, and then that is what you're offering to the universe, right?

SPEAKER_02:

Fire is really interesting that it it has this, it can be a very destructive element, but it can also be the illumination of. Yes, you're your the lighting up of. And I love the balance in that, and so oftentimes people focus on the elements on one of one aspect and not the full capacity of that element. So I love that share of recognizing that this is dynamic, you know, like we can use it to burn away things, but we can also use it to illuminate the things that we desire. And I think that is so key and all of the elements to recognize that there, there, there's different qualities of them. And fire is definitely one where I love that it can be the light and the darkness, it can be the shining of the light of what my passion is, it can be the light that illuminates the path forward for me rather than just this is a tool to burn away and let it go and be destructive and clear those energetic ties and whatever it is. Like, yeah, it can do that, but there's a whole other side of it. It kind of reminds me of um the Egyptian goddesses Sekhmet and and Hothor, right? Like that's what comes to mind. Like Sekmet is all about fire and destruction and like burning shit up, but in her fullness of rising through this elemental process, she becomes Hothor, which is very calm, which is very an enlightened being that shines the light on the totality of who you are and isn't scared of the darkness, right? So it's kind of like this balancing act of these two strengths of the fire.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, and recognize it's our solar plexus. So when we come to the chakras of the elements as well, it's like you can't be mo, there's no motivation, there's no drive, there's no like, you know, uh self-identity. If there's no fire, if you're not igniting your internal flame and and finding your creative spark and your your personal sense of power and knowing of self, that's fire energy. If you're dimmed in that, that's why people feel sluggish. That's why they feel like nothing that they want to manifest, or nothing they're working towards, or nothing that their goal setting is being achieved, because they're missing that element within themselves. So they might be very much in their water or air sign or earth sign, and they just don't recognize the fire with them is very dim.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. It's really interesting because I was just talking about this this morning um with my partner about really solar plexus and sacral chakra energies, and how how we oftentimes identify with the archetype of warrior and solar plexus, but it's such it's in error in the fact that that is only one aspect of your identity. So pulling out just highlighting one archetype when you are a very complex being with numerous archetypes within yourself. How are you really reducing solar plexus, really reducing fire to this one small element of it? And how solar plexus really is asking you to accept all of who you are, all of your weaknesses, your shadows, your your passions, your purpose, like all of it. It's all of it, it's the totality of I am fill in the blank, and stepping forward in that recognition and that power of I am Christine Renee. And what does that mean? It's not just this warrior aspect of me, it's the lover in me, it's the priestess in me, it's in the prostitute in me. It's it's all it's all of it. And so there's this I see oftentimes in the spiritual circles how the warrior term is used to identify your your solar plexus. And I'm like, that is so inaccurate because it's so um reduced to what the totality of solar plexus is, what fire is. I mean, it's a great aspect, it's a needed aspect, but it's not all of it.

SPEAKER_00:

No, it's not all of it, but I think it's important to recognize the balance between the two. It is the duality of it, right? As we have the balance of it. So if we are dimmed, we want to ignite it. If we are overflowing with too much water or too much air and not enough, you know, grounding, not enough earth energy, not enough fire energy. This is where the imbalance of ourself comes in. This is where we have like conflict and personality and stuff like that, right? Where we have these identity like crisis, like who am I? And why is this happening to me? And sometimes it's just tune into your elements. Where are you? And recognizing am I too much water right now? Am I too much air? Am I not enough fire? Am I not enough grounding, you know, and and earth? And that's where that crisis can really come from. I mean. Shit, we can like identify so many like mental health issues with just elements of go balance your elements, meditate within yourself and understand where are you coming from and what more element of that do you need? And that comes from our food. That comes from, you know, the things that we connect with. So it's definitely bringing in balance of all areas of our life. Yeah, absolutely. And it starts with our elements of fire, water, and air and earth. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah. It's the four first four elements for sure.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_02:

I love that. Like how we move through the elements. How can they serve us? Because that's really what you're speaking to is how if we're doing these rituals, how are they, how is the power of this element serving us? And how are we living in balance with it? And I think so oftentimes we get honed in on one element and make it the everything for us. And I can see how I did this for years and years. I was, I would say like my favorite chakra is a solar plexus. Why? Because I was so um I went from a place of being so emotionally abused that I needed I needed that strength of the of the fire, right? I don't really have a lot of fire in my astrology. And yet that is the one I honed in on and made my everything because that is what I needed to illuminate the rest of who I am. I needed to illuminate where the water was showing up and where the earth was showing up and where the air was showing up, and recognizing like sometimes we have to lean into one to help the others.

SPEAKER_00:

Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. Cause it's the combination of the four. It's always about bringing in that balance, right? We want to be at that zero point of ourself, of our energy. And if we're out of balance, that is where that awareness comes from. So it is diving deep within yourself. And like you're saying, you knew you needed that fire energy because you had been taken away for so much with that abuse that it weakened it. And then you ignite yourself, and then you're like, oh my gosh, here I am. Here's my voice, here's my strength, here's my power walk, you know. So everything comes on board for you, but then all the other elements start to line up too because you're not just you might be hyper focused on one, but then you get to tune in and where the other ones are as well. So now I get to bring in the flow of emotions again, reintroducing water. I get to bring in the air so that I can feel, you know, in my thoughts and dreamy and feel like I'm in a safe space. Air sometimes does not feel like a safe element when you don't feel like your surroundings are safe, right? And that's when we check out. You see people who check out because you're too much in the air, right? And that's when we kind of just that's when we hyper fixate and we're like, we're out. And they're in idea.

SPEAKER_02:

There's so much in there floating ideas of all of these things that are coming through, and they forget their groundedness, yeah. Right. And coming back to that that earth element of like, here's the details, this is what we're doing, this is the the plan of action. Like there's some elements of the solar plexus there, but the like what resources do I need? What do I have available to me? That is so root chakra. And so it's this beautiful interplay, right? And so it's like, it's okay to in the beginning to cart like to really really see them individually and recognize that they're all influencing one another as well. When you have the solid foundation, when you have the resources, when you have all of your needs met, what does it allow that structure? What does it allow for air to do? To feel safe to envision, to dream, to breathe into their desires.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, because when you're in survival mode, that does not feel safe. You're not there being dreamy and able to focus on your future goals and stuff like that, because you're right here, right now. You're in survival mode, right? So when you get to that safe place, you can step into air, you can let your dreams come forward, you can share, you can feel like, oh, look at I have this idea, I have that idea with the right people. And then you know that you're in a safer space. So it almost like gives your it's like your spectrum of where you are in life, too. Like if you can be comfortable in air and you're solid in your grounding of that energy, you are in a safe space. So it's very interesting when you take it to different elements of life, different areas.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, and I was thinking about how last night I was I started our facilitator training, the art of holding space. And there was this very much, here's the structure. Here's here's how we're gonna actually move through the process. It was very, I had to start with the foundation last night of here's the root chakra of it all. But then where does the flow and creativity come in of sacral? Where does the illumination come in? Where does the boundaries, the time boundaries, the what what I'm what am I available for in this in this structure and what I'm not? And how can we allow that? It almost feels like that breath of divine spirit showing up to be the wind to allow people to fully feel like they can breathe and let go and be emotional and all of it. So it's very, it's very interesting to recognize how we have to one have the self-awareness in ourselves. I think that's so much oftentimes like the healing begins with our own awareness. Where am I at? Do I feel really grounded that I can hold space? Do I feel like I am in a creative energy where I can craft a workshop, craft a something, whatever it is. Like it's it's kind of like how are we coming to ourselves and having the awareness of, I see where I'm at and I see what is my strength, what I'm really comfortable in. And I can also feel into what is immature in me and how can I feed it to mature it? So if the boundaries are uncomfortable, how can we feed our solar plexus so that it can feel easier in that? If it's hard to be emotional, how can we elicit some of these activities of water to say I'm safe to feel my emotions, I'm safe to be in my flow, I'm safe to be my full sexual, sensual self. What does that look like?

SPEAKER_00:

And how they respond to all that. How was class last night? Kind of a little slide thing.

SPEAKER_02:

Class was great. Um, class is really great. It very was root chakra energy last night. You know, it was like it was introductions and a very long ass lecture because it was like, I don't know how else I'm gonna get this with unless I do it all in one chunk of like, here is how you actually conduct all of the structural pieces of a workshop. So I'm really excited for our next calls because then we get to actually play. Okay, we now we got this the structure taken care of. Now, okay, here's this language technique. Let's say, for example, in the chakras, if someone is speaking from the all of their ideas that they're having of all these different possibilities of what workshops they want to do, and yet there's no groundedness of like, when are you gonna put that on the calendar? Because right? Then it's like that, it's recognizing where they're at so that they can emphasize wow, okay, I can see why maybe I had the workshop structure, maybe I I knew that already, but I didn't know how to elicit my sacral chakra and trust the flow of the group and trust my divine connection so that I knew that I could be supportive in the process, right? And so it's very interesting to even just offering this the first class of going, watching everyone take a step back and being self-reflective of what they've tried, what worked for them, what didn't work for them, all the missing pieces. And even though it was coming from a very uh very structured space, the class itself last night was, and to have to watch that awareness, right? And so um I think class went really well. It was really fun to have everything in.

SPEAKER_00:

I think it's important when we recognize in ourselves where are we all talk and no action, right? And sometimes that's even a trigger spot within us, but it's important to recognize it because when everyone where people are like, my business isn't thriving, I'm not getting clients, I don't know what's happening, right? I'm doing all the things. But when you sit back and go, am I really doing um all the things? Am I talking it, but I'm not putting the action forward? Like I'm not putting it on the calendar, I'm not structuring the classes, the sessions, whatever, right? It's like, yeah, that is that element of like, let's go do it. Let's be bold, let's trust in ourselves to go and get it done and know that the alignment will show up. Yeah. So, no, I'm sure they were having big aha moments of, whoo, yeah, I'm not really doing all the work. I thought I was. Totally. Or I'm doing more work than I should, because that happens too.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. Oftentimes you're you're spinning out and trying to figure out, like, well, if I just do this and I just do this and I just then it will happen. And you know, I I spent a lot of time um last night, last yesterday evening, really feeling into victimhood mode and how that shows up in our identity of going, switching from this is happening to me to I get to, I'm privileged to offer this. Right. So this was after the class and even recognizing in myself where my boundaries are. Like right now, I'm teaching three to four evenings a week, and I'm a single parent, I'm a mom. And what in me is saying I should continue to fill up my evenings, right? And how that is in such resistance because I want to be a mom. I get to be the mother that I get want to be as well. And how do I find that balance between the two? Right. And so there's this really this curiosity of, you know, I can play the victim mindset of I can't, I don't have the time, I'm not, I don't, I'm not allowed to do this because I have these responsibilities. And where is it like I get to be the mom that I desire to be? I get to show up for my child, I get to make the homemade meals, I get to be an advocate for her when she's having school troubles. Like, and really recognizing in ourselves, where is that um gratitude living within us? Right. And I feel like so much of that is in the solar plexus. Like you get to decide whether you're gonna go, oh, poor me, I don't get to teach, do a Reiki circle this month, or oh poor me, I'm not gonna teach a Reiki class this month, and go, I get to do the this thing that I desire to do.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, right. It's like people wouldn't get FOMO. I asked my husband that a couple weeks ago because there was something that we were gonna go do. And I do I asked him, I said, Do you ever get FOMO, which is fear of missing out? You know, and he goes, No. And I said, Never. And he goes, No. He goes, I'm living in my moment right now. He goes, Why would I worry about what's happening that I'm not doing what I'm in, I'm engaging with where I'm at right now. And I was like, he is one of my greatest teachers, I do have to say. But because I will I get FOMO. So the thing was was there was an event that was happening at work that I wanted to go to, and then but I was at home and I wanted to be at home. I needed to be at home, you know, and I was comfortable and we were lounging and or whatever we were doing. But there's this piece of my mind that's like, well, what's going on over there? So I've really been working with that because I think a lot of people get that in multiple areas. Do you have FOMO at work? Do you have it in your social life? Do you have it with your family? Like, where we don't feel like we're cred we're connected in our present moment because we're engaging in other situations and activities that we're not in, you know, like you're energetically plugging into other activities and wishing we were there. And that's the regret, the victim, or whatever. But it's um coming back and being present and going, no, I don't need to be anywhere else other than where I am in my present moment and have gratitude for it. Because, like you're saying, like you can have the gratitude of I'm hanging out with my daughter versus I'm at a sound bath or whatever, you know, or I'm not teaching this, I'm doing that. But in the moment you're raising your kid.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

And, you know, that's the big gift because in the end, when she's an adult, you're gonna look back and wish you had those times again, you know?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_00:

And as parents, we're just wanting to go through it so fast.

SPEAKER_02:

I know that can be my issue. Like, I'm like, hurry up and grow up, you guys. I'm like, I've got I got stuff to do. And it's um being able to pull back into that that space of gratitude of going when you can recognize your privilege privilege, when you can recognize your authentic gifts, when you can recognize all that you have brought forward and look back to where you were five years ago, 10 years ago, and you are your dream of your past self, right? Like I'm living in the house that I've I've dreamed about, I'm living in community that I've always wanted. I am in, I have beautiful connection with my children and communication. Um, you know, like I can keep going back to this place of wow, I have so much. Who am I to complain about these other things that I'm missing out on? Right. And if I can stay in that place of gratitude and feel the feelings of having my cup full, you're more likely to have more things to come to you to to affirm that, right? And so it's this beautiful place of, you know, I want to go back to the water element of recognizing almost like you're here, you're here's your sacral chakra, and it's this chalice that fills your pelvic bowl. And going, look at all of the beautiful things that I have here in this space. How do I get experience my emotions, my sexuality, my sensuality, my creativity, my the essence of this flowy receptivity? And when I'm receiving, I'm receiving, I'm receiving, that's where the abundance flows out of. You can recognize is my isn't that chalice empty, or is it overflowing in abundance? And in that overflow, how can I fill up the other chakras?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, it's beautiful. And you know, and it's like when you're going talking about all the things that you have now that you didn't have, it's like you're in that place, like you're exactly where you wanted to be. Your younger self strive to be where you are now. And so now it is sitting in the gratitude of it and to be grateful for all the the work that you've put into it and that it came out into your favor, you know, because sometimes a lot of times in life, that doesn't always happen. But when it does happen, why do we want to bypass it so fast? Right. It's like we're not even satisfied when you get it, you know, like I worked so hard for this and I received it, and now I'm over here on the next thing and the next thing. And you know, it is coming back and being very present with everything that we have. Yeah, yeah. And I recognize that was in there, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

It kind of felt like the expectation was like, okay, now you've received it. Now what else do you want? What else do you want to manifest? And I'm like, you know what? I don't want to manifest the mansion on the hill. That has never been my dream. It's never been, I want to take luxury vacations. It's never been that for me, you know. And so it's it's recognizing the things that I have now and the access that I have now, the gratitude that I have now, and how can they continue to allow the relationships that I had and the things that I've created now to continue to um inspire new energy? Yeah. Here I'm living in community. And am I going, am I attending the meals? Am I going out for lunch dates? Am I like here here's my opportunity to live in community? And am I living it to the fullest? Right. And so it's this juicy place.

SPEAKER_00:

It is. Well, I think um with what we have to offer that I want to kind of like switch gears and talk about what is coming forward for our listeners and um a new membership that we're getting ready to offer and starting uh the first Thursday of February. So it is Mystic Moon Collective, and we're gonna be offering a weekly um membership of working with our four elements. So we have a tarot class the first Thursday, then we go into Reiki Share the second, we go into a shamanic journey the third week, and then the fourth week is gonna be a mixture of many things. So depending on the month, it will be a um a sacred conversation. So bringing anything forward, anything forward that you want to talk about, questions, topics, anything like that, somatic dancing, right? Some somatic work, breath work. So we're gonna be cycling some of those things in and out. Um, but this is gonna be a weekly class that you can take and come. And I'm just excited about it because with each one of them, it's interactive. You're gonna be able to come, you're bringing your dick, you're gonna be doing readings for others. There will be like some teaching on it, but at the same time, we're gonna be reading for each other, pulling cards, doing all that. And then Reiki Share, you're gonna be receiving as well as offering Reiki. And then in um the shamanic journey one, we're gonna be journeying to a destination, a location, um, right? Like we're gonna go to the different realms, but we're gonna have some more to guide you and to take you so that you can go and journey to different locations, which is always fun. Those are my actually my favorite ones to do. Yeah, I've done some really powerful journey work in that. So, do you want to tell some more on it?

SPEAKER_02:

I do because, you know, when we were talking yesterday of going, well, what elements fit with each of these offerings? And do they do they make sense? And, you know, I was like, well, shamanic journey is definitely earth, right? Like I could feel that right away that we're connecting with the elements, we're connecting with nature, we're connecting with our power animals and spirit guides. And that feels like a foundational connection. And I knew that um Reiki is oftentimes this really flowing energy, right? And I could just sense okay, well, that one's Water because it has such a almost the Reiki itself oftentimes feels very feminine. It feels like it's in this divine flow and it just wants to move and it's going to help soften those aspects within ourselves, or it's kind of like it's going to move around those boulders or loosen them up so that they can gently move downstream, right? Like it has this gentleness to it. And so that really felt like water. And then it was like, well, sacred conversations, that's definitely air because we're going to be communicating. We're going to be breathing into it. We're going to be leaning into what's the spark, the imaginative idea that's coming through the air that wants to show up. And so letting though that class be more spontaneous, more in alignment with whatever is alive in the group, whether that ends up being group coaching, whether that ends up being everyone wants to really talk about a specific topic. How can we make sacred conversations, like almost a cacao ceremony without the cacao? Like, how can we elicit the engagement and the flow of the group, like as we blow like leaves in the wind, right? And allow for that kind of space. And when we attributed fire to tarot, I was like, oh yeah.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. Like when I think about tarot, I'm like, this is the no bullshit original deck, right? Like, yeah, it's not an Oracle deck. An Oracle deck is very oftentimes kind and soft. And you go to tarot and it's like, no more bullshit. This is what's going on, right?

SPEAKER_00:

It is this is what's happening right now.

SPEAKER_02:

Here it is. Like it just is so powerful and strong in its energy. And and so when we kind of felt into can we bring in a in a collective membership, a monthly membership where we're really supporting our group, our audience, our our our container with the elements, what will that look like? And these are what really showed up. And knowing that there might be a fifth Thursday of a month, and how that can be a spontaneous blessing of whatever wants to come forward, how Chantel or myself is going to like lean into that extra special, juicy one that might happen every so often, and and really listening to what it is that our group is desiring. And so this is something, you know, like uh Chantel is doing her tarot readings in the Facebook group. We do these whispers of wisdom live every Monday in the Facebook group. And how can we make it interactive? Like, how are how is this tarot different than the tarot that Chantelle is doing on Thursday? And it really is that leaning into each of these are interactive. This is about you fully participating and learning from that participation.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, which is what I think is the fun, like we're bringing in fun and play when we get down to it. We're we're learning, we're teaching, we're interacting, but it's also to bring in some fun elements within our community, but for our community, so that you can come together. And like I said, you know, people want to, if you're interested in readings and you want to, you know, learn how to do your own. This is for all levels. So just on focusing on the first week with um tarot readings. So if you're a beginner versus you know an advanced reader, come either way, right? Because you're gonna be doing readings for each other, you're gonna learn things about in like connecting to your intuition. This isn't, we'll have the books, but you don't need the books. It's you guiding and being guided by your own intuitive nudges of what is the card saying to you, right? You're connecting energetically with the person that you are reading for, and what does this card mean for you? And then how is that connecting for them? How is it aligning, right? We can read through a book all the time, but for me, the book represents more of the author's interpretation of what the card is, it's their intent. But when you're reading it for somebody else's energy, it doesn't always align. So it's like we're gonna be tapping into our intuition, we're gonna be um following the symbology of the card. What does it mean? What do you feel? We're gonna be reading for each other, you're gonna be receiving readings. So, and then if our group gets big enough, you're gonna go into breakout rooms and we're gonna let you go do some quick readings over there. Come back and share. There's feedback that comes with this too, and laughter and fun. And so this is a very interactive class. And then, of course, if we well, do you have something about the tarot that you want to add to that before we move to the next one?

SPEAKER_02:

You know, I feel like the only thing I would want to add to tarot is to recognize, you know, if your tarot feels harsh, noticing where that's coming from, noticing this as an elemental factor. How are we afraid of fire? How are we afraid of its power? And how can we embody it and recognize that the fire is part of who we are and how we can lean into it and recognize that that power can serve us, you know? Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

And so that's the power, yes.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. And this can go for any of them. If you have a hesitancy towards a specific element, there's a reason why we wanted to bring in the elements to this. We wanted to recognize, wow, okay, distance ready circles, no problem, shamanic journey, cool, sacred conversations, I can do that. Oh no, tarot. It's recognizing your own reaction to and relationship with that element and going, how how can we actually recognize that and lean in to find our edges? Right. Can we receive a reading from someone else and just take what we can from that, let go what doesn't serve us, and go, okay, well, that was cool. And how can I step forward? How can I lean into there's part of me that is in my fire energy, and I'm gonna offer that through this deck and offer it as I'm gonna bring wisdom through for this person? And how does that how can you recognize yourself stepping into a practitioner role? And what if that was all that it was? What if you're just practicing the identity of fire as a practitioner? Right? Here's that solar plexus once again, right? And so where are we leaning in and where are we leaning back? And which one of those are you doing in? Right. This is just having that is an experience of self-reflection and self-awareness of going, how can this serve you? Like, I might not be a huge fan of tarot, but this would be a great way to lean into why is that? What does this mean to me? How can I say I'm available for this, but I'm not available for that? And how can I continue to lean in and play in that space of recognizing where my energy is?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. And why is there a fear? Some because a lot of people have fear of the messages coming through. People get really nervous, right? But I see it as it's it's awareness. When you have the awareness, you know, it's the tarot is reading the energy of the moment, right? Now you might have some predictions because if you continue on that timeline, you're gonna have some predictions of what could occur. But if you shift yourself, because you shift from the awareness of what the messages come forward, and if it tells you like you're in this major sword energy and you change your mindset on that, the perspective of how you're looking at something, you are timeline jumping. You get to then shift your complete like trajectory of where you're going. Instead of swiping and thinking, oh no, I can't do that, right? And knowing they're not negative and they're not for anyone out there that's like, oh, you have such a negative connotation. Sometimes I'm like, oh my gosh, tarot is one of my most favorite uh ways of connecting with spirit because they come in so strong. And if you can't communicate with them through downloads or visions or your journey work, this is a great way to communicate with spirit and to receive messages. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, right. And so the second week is all about yes, our uh Reiki share. So these are the first two weeks that we're gonna be working with and coming in and receiving it, creating that sacred space, calling in. Um, and like I said, giving and receiving. And so this is really good for level ones to come to be able to practice, to be able to receive Reiki and at the same time for level twos to be able to give the distance, and then of course, masters, you know, but for all levels to come in, to receive, to offer, to give, to be in that loving energy of Reiki and to allow it to do that inner work that we need. Yes, and these are 60-minute classes, so we're gonna be from 10 to 11 uh Pacific Standard Time, and then what is that one o'clock for Eastern time?

SPEAKER_02:

Exactly.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, every Thursday, and this is what we're gonna start it with, right?

SPEAKER_02:

So, as the the collective, if you want to be part of the collective, you will have access to our app. The Mystic Moon Collective will have its own chat so that even between classes that you will have support if things come up. If you're doing your own tarot readings, if you're you're experiencing self-reiki sessions, if you're doing shamanic journeys on your own, if you're having things come up with questions, you will have a community to come to. So, this is about Chantel and I, yes, we're facilitating, yes, we're holding space for you all, but you all have such deep wisdom in and of yourself. And so, how can we support one another? So I really want to also emphasize that we're gonna have this community room, this community chat space where we are honoring one another, we're recognizing one another, we're holding each other up through our own individual storms and calm. And what does that look like? So, not only do you have access to four amazing classes every month, with um, we'll have that space be um really available to recognize, okay, when is to have reminders in that group chat of like, okay, class is coming. Here's the Zoom link, and it will also be a sharing space, but also a space for for you to be exactly who you are. Right. And I think so often that is what students highlight about their experiences with Moonrising Shamanic Institute, is that they get to be their curious self, their their recognition of this. I had this really phenomenal experience, a dream about an alien, or that they had this really dynamic journey with a dragon, or whatever it is that you feel is like so far out there. We create spaces where all of it's safe. Where it's all safe. Yes, be your weirdo self and actually go. That is the beauty of me. This is my experience, actually, is part of who I am. And I love all the aspects of who I am. And this is this is part of that. And where else can I go where I can have these kind of vulnerable shares and be accepted? Right. And so that's one of the my um one of my exciting pieces that we get offer through the Mystic Moon Collective is also the chat.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, yeah. It's the extra support. Yes, it definitely is. That is a big part of it, is that you get supported for the needs that you have as well. You get to ask questions, you get to show up as yourself, you get to use your own voice, you get to show off your own gifts in some of these. And so it's it's a well-rounded, you know, offering to be able to come and get to know other like-minded people that are have the same enjoyments as you do. And at the same time, you yourself get to show up. So it's like a win-win for everyone. So you do have the choice of picking one or coming to all four through this. Um, we did put the link in the show notes. We're gonna have it in the Facebook group, it'll be on our website. So this is an ongoing offering. We're gonna check out this time frame and see how this works for our community. But right now, this is what's working for us. And um, hopefully, this is a good time for everyone else as well.

SPEAKER_02:

And know too that this will be a shared space between Chantel and I. So we'll um be rotating through who's who's leading, and Chantel and some months might have more than me, or vice versa. And know that once the the movement forward is happening, it's the beautiful part about having two facilitators is if I get sick or Chantel's on vacation or whatever it may be, the classes aren't going to be canceled. We're gonna we're gonna have the consistency there because you have two facilitators that are are more than willing to help show up in in our strengths and be able to um hold witness to your growth and your dynamic, your beautiful self. And so I'm really excited that we get to collaborate on this. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Beautiful. Well, know that all of those things are going to be in the show notes. If you have questions, reach out to myself or Chantelle. And we cannot wait to share space with you in this way starting in February on Thursdays. So keep that in mind. The link is there.
